Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gender, love of money,
dan IESQ terhadap persepsi mahasiswa mengenai skandal etis profesi akuntan.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa akuntansi di wilayah Madura,
terdiri dari mahasiswa Universitas Trunojoyo Madura (UTM), Universitas Madura
(UNIRA), Universitas Islam Madura (UIM), dan Universitas Wiraraja (UNIJA).
Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa akuntansi semester 8 yang telah
menempuh mata kuliah auditing. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang
diperoleh dari kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi
berganda dengan program SPSS 21.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Gender berpengaruh terhadap persepsi
mahasiswa mengenai skandal etis profesi akuntan; (2) Love of money
berpengaruh terhadap persepsi mahasiswa mengenai skandal etis profesi
akuntan; (3) Kecerdasan Intelektual tidak berpengaruh terhadap persepsi
mahasiswa mengenai skandal etis profesi akuntan; (4) Kecerdasan Emosional
tidak berpengaruh terhadap persepsi mahasiswa mengenai skandal etis profesi
akuntan; (5) Kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap persepsi mahasiswa
mengenai skandal etis profesi akuntan.
