Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model giving question and getting answer terhadap motivasi siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran. Materi pada penelitian ini adalah sistem gerak pada makhluk hidup kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Tanah Merah Bangkalan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-B. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) motivasi siswa memperoleh persentase 75,97% dengan kategori tinggi. (2) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran giving question and getting answer sangat baik dengan persentase 87,77%. (3) respon siswa model giving question and getting answer memperoleh persentase 76,71% dengan kategori sangat baik.
