Abstract

ABSTRAK
Ulfa Choiriah. 140541100046. Kecemasan Orang Tua Memiliki Anak
Perempuan Yang Menempuh Pendidikan Di Perguruan Tinggi (Studi
Fenomenologi Di Desa Bakeong, Kecamatan Guluk-Guluk, Kabupaten
Sumenep). Skripsi. Program Studi Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu
Budaya, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kecemasan Orang Tua
Memiliki Anak Perempuan Yang Menempuh Pendidikan Di Perguruan Tinggi
(Studi Fenomenologi Di Desa Bakeong, Kecamatan Guluk-Guluk, Kabupaten
Sumenep). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan 4
subjek orang tua memiliki anak yang menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi
dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara,
dengan model wawancara semi terstruktur dengan menggunakan guide kecemasan
yang menurut Calhoun dan Acocella (dalam Safaria dan Saputra, 2012) membagi
aspek kecemasan menjadi tiga, yaitu reaksi emosional, reaksi kognitif dan reaksi
fisiologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keempat orang tua di Di Desa
Bakeong, Kecamatan Guluk-Guluk, Kabupaten Sumenep, mengalami kecemasan
saat memiliki anak perempuan yang menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi
karena budaya menikah dini dan budaya patriarki yang ada di desanya. hasil
dalam penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa orang tua perempuan (ibu) lebih
merasa cemas kepada anak perempuannya.
