Abstract

ABSTRAK
Jagung salah satu tanaman pangan yang banyak dikonsumsi selain padi dan gandum. Jawa Timur merupakan provinsi tertinggi penghasil jagung diperkirakan pada tahun 2014 mencapai 5.737.382 ton. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Jatra Timur Kecamatan Banyuates Kabupaten Sampang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi usahatani jagung 2) untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi teknis dari penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi usahatani jagung. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 59 petani yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode slovin. Metode analisis data menggunakan fungsi produksi stochastic frontier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) luas lahan 2) bibit 3) pupuk urea dan 4) pupuk ponska berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi jagung.
