A STYLISTICS ANALYSIS ON "AMAL-AMAL" IN MADURA

This study focuses on stylistics that are found on amal-amal in Madura. This study aims to explain the kinds of stylistic feature which are taken from amal-amal in Madura. It also aims to explain the reason why stylistic is used by people who conduct amal-amal in Madura
In addition to analyze the data, this study uses stylistics features. Moreover, this study is conducted using a qualitative design because the data are in the form of sentences. The data of this study are the utterances by people who conduct amal-amal when they ask money to the drivers or riders. The data of this study are collected by using content analysis method.
In the findings, the writer found 23 data. The writer found three types of stylistics, 9 data which are included into diction and 6 data are included into parallelism 8 data are included into figure of speech that consist of two types (5 data that belong to metaphor, 3 data that belong to simile). There are two reasons why stylistic is used by people who conduct amal-amal, (1) breaking up any awkwardness of repeating the same phrase 8 data, (2) changing the words to make the sentence more interesting 15 data.
