Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kreatif tes tertulis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini menggunakan
metode gabungan (kuantitatif dan kualitatif) dengan model dominant less - dominant design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII di Desa Mlawang Kecamatan Klakah Kabupaten Lumajang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 15 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan soal tes berpikir kreatif dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa memiliki rata-rata sebesar 53,33% dengan kategori sedang. Proses
berpikir kreatif siswa pada kategori kelompok tinggi melakukan tahapan proses berpikir kreatif menurut teori Wallas dengan baik, sedangkan kategori sedang dan
rendah mengalami kendala pada tahap iluminasi dan verifikasi dalam proses berpikir
kreatif.
