Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa aktivis FISIB Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik sampling kuota dengan sampel sebesar 97 mahasiswa aktivis FISIB. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dua skala yaitu Skala Prokrastinasi Akademik terdiri dari 21 item, dan Skala Harga diri terdiri dari 21 item. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat pengaruh harga diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa aktivis FISIB Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai F hitung adalah 3.299 dengan signifikansi 0,001 (< 0.05) maka hipotesis diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh harga diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa aktivis FISIB Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Besar konstribusi variabel harga diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dengan melihat tabel R Square atau koefesien determinasi yaitu sebesar 0.039 yang artinya konstribusi variabel harga diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik adalah 39 %. Sedangkan untuk 61 % dipengaruhi faktor lain.
