MTs Al-Wathan is an Islamic educational institution, however, the student still do not have good communication ethic eventhough there is learning material on morals ethics. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication of teachers in instilling ethical values in students at MTs Al-Wathan through teaching and learning activities. This study is a qualitative study with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Informants were selected using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis used interactive analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman. The data validity technique used source triangulation. The results of this study show that instilling ethical values in students is not only carried out during teaching and learning activities by teachers at MTs Al-Wathan, but it is also done outside of teaching and learning activities because students are in puberty, so teachers must be able to make intense observations. Teachers also want their students to obey all regulations where they are, such school regulations. So when students are in an environment that has good ethical values, students will be educated to be ethical. The ethics carried out by students during teaching and learning activities such listening to the teachers explanation carefully and not choosing to chat with
friends. Do not interrupt when the teacher is giving an explanation, but if you have a question, the student will first raise their hand.
