Abstract

: Pulau Mandangin merupakan pulau satu-satunya yang berada di Kabupaten Sampang dan mempunyai potensi yang perlu dikembangkan, salah satunya sumberdaya rumput alaut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengkaji kualitas air Pulau Mandangin untuk pengembangan budidaya sumberdaya rumput laut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dari data hasil di lapang dan dibandingkan dengan literatur. Lokasi pengamatan Barat, Selatan dan Timur. Pengamatan dilakukan saat pagi, siang dan sore salama lima hari berturut-turut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kisaran suhu 27ͦC-30ͦ, salinitas 32 ppt- 35 ppt, kecepatan arus 11,7 cm/deteik – 26,45 cm/detik, kedalaman 2,5 m – 5 m, pH 7 – 7,2 dan DO 6,3 ppm – 7,3 ppm.

Kata Kunci : Pulau Mandangin, Hasil Parameter Kualitas Air, Lokasi Budidaya Rumput Laut.
