Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan representasi simbolik siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan metode One Group Pretest-Posttest dan dilaksanakan di MTs NU Mojosari, Loceret, Nganjuk. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII dengan sampel kelas VIII E. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Non Parametrik Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif terhadap kemampuan representasi simbolik siswa SMP, dengan tingkat signifikansi pada soal Mathematical Representation Ability (MRA) sebesar 0,000 dan kemampan representasi simbolik siswa berkembang, dengan rata-rata nilai posttest 75 serta kategori tinggi. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memiliki nilai rata-rata 94,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80,18% dengan kategori sangat baik.
