Abstract
Studi tentang analisis penyelesaian soal cerita berdasarkan NEA (Newman Error Analysis) yang telah dilakukan dapat mengetahui hasil persentase dan penyebab kesalahan siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Mix Method dengan desain Exploratory Mixed Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Balongbendo dengan populasi semua siswa kelas VIII Tahun Ajaran 2018-2019. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII-A dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Nonprobability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kualitatif menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman.
