Abstract

PDAM adalah perusahaan yang mengelola kebutuhan air masyarakat. Tugas
utamanya adalah menghasilkan air yang layak baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas.
Namun dalam perancanaan kebutuhan air bersih, PDAM dihadapkan dengan beberapa
permasalahan. Permasalahan tersebuat misalnya ketidakmampuan mengimbangi kebutuhan
air bersih masyarakat, tingginya angka kehilangan air dan kendala perbaikan jaringan pipa.
Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan memanfaatkan
Sistem Informasi Geografis. Di dalam sistem terdapat visualisasi peta jaringan pipa dan
kelengkapannya, modul perawatan gate valve dan lapor bulan sistem distribusi diatur dan
dikerjakan dalam suatu sistem. Dengan ini sistem akan mempermudah pengerjaan sistem
distribusi air PDAM.
