Abstract

Desa Junganyar, Desa Dakiring dan Desa Buluh merupakan bagian dari Kecamatan Socah yang banyak ditumbuhi mangrove, khususnya di muara sungai, pemukiman penduduk dan tambak. Sebagian besar penduduk dilokasi ini berprofesi sebagai nelayan sehingga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya bergantung pada hasil tangkapan ikan, udang, kepiting, gastropada yang bersumber dari mangrove. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kemungkinan berbagai aktivitas dan tekanan masyarakat setempat mempengaruhi eksistensi hutan mangrove.
