Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena masih banyaknya masyarakat yang beranggapan miring
tentang usaha bisnis Hotel. Penerapan konsep bisnis yang sesuai syariat Islam sangat diuatamakan
dan kehalalan suatu bisnis akan terjamin. Fokus penelitian yang akan dibahas adalah bagaimana
penerapan konsep bisnis berbasis Syariah pada Hotel Grand Kalimas Syariah Surabaya.
Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data
melalui observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan Manajer dan beberapa pegawai Hotel Grand
Kalimas Syariah yang berada di Surabaya.
Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep bisnis syariah pada usaha Hotel
Grand Kalimas Syariah di Surabaya secara syariah sudah mampu memberikan gambaran bahwa
usaha Hotel Grand Kalimas di Surabaya sudah tergolong usaha berbasis Syariah yang memang
benar-benar menerapkan sistem syariah dalam segala hal dalam usahanya yaitu produk, tempat,
harga, maupun pelayanan.
