This study is a research about analysis of semiotic in The Maze Runner novel by James Dashner. The objectives of this research are: 1. To describe the sign in the novel The Maze Runner by James Dashner 2. To describe the function and meaning of sign in the novel The Maze Runner by James Dashner.rnThe method used in this stud is qualitative method. This research used semiotic by using theory of Charles Sanders Pierce. This research used the novel The Maze Runner by James Dashner which was published in 2010 and some books was used to analyze and supported this research. In this research, the writer found a signs related to semiotic theory in the novel. The writer found 40 data in the novel The Maze Runner by Jame Dashner which consists of the form of a sign on the index aspect has more data than icons and symbols with the number of data reaching 19 data. While the icon has more data less than the symbol data is only 9 of data and the symbol reaches the number 12 of data.
