Abstract
Pulau Raas merupakan salah satu kepulauan yang berada di Kabupaten Sumenep yang memiliki ekosistem laut terlengkap di antaranya ekosistem mangrove, ekosistem lamun dan ekosistem terumbu karang. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan: 1) Mengetahui faktor pembatas lamun; 2) Mengidentifikasi jenis lamun; dan 3) Mengetahui status ekologi lamun di Pulau Raas Kabupaten Sumenep. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan transek kuadrat dengan analisis identifikasi jenis lamun dan struktur komunitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, 1) Kualitas perairain di Pulau Raas Kecamatan Raas Kabupaten Sumenep layak untuk pertumbuhan lamun. 2) Teridentifikasi satu jenis lamun di perairan Pulau Raas yaitu (Enhalus acoroides). 3) Nilai indek di Pulau Raas yaitu (H’) kategori sedang, (E) kategori kondisi stabil dan keseragaman tinggi, (D) kategori tidak mendominansi.
