A STUDY OF REGISTER USED BY AQUASCAPERS AT THE HR AQUARIUM SHOP IN BOJONEGORO CITY

This study focused on a study of register used by Aquascapers at the HR Aquarium shop in Bojonegoro city. This study aimed to explain the kinds of register and the situasional characteristics of registers used by Aquascapers. This type of research was designed with a descriptive qualitative method. The data source of this study was taken from primary data. It was obtained directly from people who were chosen randomly at the HR Aquarium shop. The data of this study was words and phrases that contain registers. The data were collected by using participant observation method. In analyzing the data, the researcher used descriptive analysis method with the flows of activity use the interactive model.
Based on the result of the research, the researcher concluded that he found 30 data in this study. In the kinds of register, that he found 1 (one) data of frozen register, 0 (zero) data of formal register, 9 (nine) data of consultative register, 14 (fourteen) data of casual register and 6 (six) data of intimate register. Based on these data, the researcher concludes that the registers used by aquascapers at the HR Aquarium store can apply 7 situations.
