Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis tanah dan
panjang stek terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kolesom (Talinum triangulare
(Jacq.) Willd). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Program Studi
Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Trunojoyo Madura yang terletak di
Desa Telang Kecamatan Kamal Kabupaten Bangkalan Madura dengan
ketinggian tempat ± 5 mdpl. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan SeptemberNovember
2017.

Lengkap

(RAL) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua perlakuan yaitu panjang stek S1
(10 cm), S2 (15 cm), S3 (20 cm), S4 (25c m) dan jenis tanah T1 (mediteran), T2
(grumusol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan panjang stek 25 cm
rata-rata dapat memberikan pengaruh yang terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah
muncul tunas, jumlah cabang dan jumlah daun tanaman kolesom (Talinum
triangulare (Jacq.) Willd) serta penggunaan tanah mediteran rata-rata
memberikan pengaruh yang terbaik terhadap jumlah daun, bobot basah dan
bobot kering tanaman kolesom (Talinum triangulare (Jacq.) Willd).

Kata Kunci : Talinum triangulare (Jacq.) Willd), jenis tanah, panjang stek.
