Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi siswa yang mengalami
miskonsepsi atau tidak pada pelajaran IPA menggunakan soal tes diagnostik yang
dilengkapi dengan Certainty of Response Index (CRI) yang biasa disebut dengan
tingkat keyakinan responden (siswa) dalam menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu mixed methods dengan populasi seluruh
siswa kelas IX MTs Ar-Rowiyah dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan angket validasi.
Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis instrumen tes, analisis kuantitaif dan
analisis kualitatif data penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil tes dapat disimpulkan bahwa
pada materi cahaya persentase siswa yang tidak tahu konsep sebesar 26%,
miskonsepsi sebesar 52% dan tahu konsep sebesar 22% dan siswa paling banyak
mengalami miskonsepsi pada sub konsep pemantulan cahaya nomor soal 12 yaitu
sebesar 83%.
