Abstract
Abstract : This study discusses the use of acronym in Business magazines namely Forbes Asia Business Magazine. The purposes of this study are to identify the types of acronym that proposed by Quirk et al (1985) that found in Forbes Asia Business Magazine and to explain the parameters of acronym that proposed by Lopez Rua (2002). The result of this study shows that there are two types of acronym in the magazines and explains the use of parameters of acronym.
