Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi nonverbal dalam video blog (vlog) kampanye pemilihan Gubernur DKI Jakarta 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis tekstual kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah video blog (vlog) kandidat calon Gubernur DKI Jakarta 2017. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah komunikasi politik dalam komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi nonverbal. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana perbedaan komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi nonverbal yang muncul dalam vlog masing-masing kandidat. Dalam vlog Ahok-Drajot, pengambaran Ahok-Djarot lebih cenderung sebagai sosok pemimpin yang tegas dalam kepemerintahannya. Sedangkan vlog Anies-Sandi cenderung sebagai sosok pemimpin yang merakyat dan dianggap dapat mempersatukan seluruh masyarakatnya.
