Abstract
Abstrak
Makalah ini membahas efektifnya mengkombinasikan algoritma untuk deteksi maniulasi laporan keuangan. Penelitian ini mengkombinasikan Z-score, M-score dan indeks eckel. penelitian ini menggunakan data dari tahun 2000-2012 dengan perusahaan manufaktur sebagai sample berdasarkan laporan tahunan BAPPEPAM (Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal) terbukti melakukan kecurangan hasilnya 34 perusahaan dan menjadi perhatian publik. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan data perusahaan yang belum terbukti melakukan kecurangan dengan tipe dan tahun sama.
Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi algoritma tunggal bisa mendeteksi 91,18% lebih baik dari Z-score, M-score dan indeks eckel yang hanya mendeteksi 51,47%, 55,88% and 70,59%. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa kombinasi 3 (tiga) algoritma bisa mendeteksi lebih baik dari kombinasi 2 (dua) algoritma dan 1 (satu) kombinasi algoritma.
