Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat
miskonsepsi pada materi listrik statis dalam buku teks IPA. Buku A adalah BSE
“Mari belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Sekitar Panduan Belajar IPA Terpadu
untuk kelas IX SMP/MTs” karangan Sukis Wariyono dan Yani Muharromah dan
buku B adalah BSE “Mari Belajar IPA Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam untuk SMP/MTs
kelas IX” karangan Elok Sudibyo, Wahono Widodo, Wasis, dan Dwi Suhartanti
dan persentase miskonsepsi yang ada dalam kedua buku teks IPA tersebut.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini
adalah konsep listrik statis dalam kedua buku teks IPA. Penelitian dilakukan
dengan cara menguji konsep listrik statis yang ada dalam buku teks IPA kemudian
membandingkannya dengan buku Fisika Universitas dan wawancara tim ahli.
Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian disajikan dalam tabel hasil identifikasi
miskonsepsi. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan
bahwa: ada miskonsepsi di dalam kedua buku teks IPA yang diteliti. Buku A
terdapat 5 miskonsepsi, buku B terdapat 2 miskonsepsi. Persentase miskonsepsi
yang terdapat pada buku A 6.02 % dan buku B 3.4 %.
