Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar IPA
menggunakan strategi pembelajaran heuristic vee dan mind mapping. Penelitian
dilakukan di SMPN 2 Tanah Merah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra
eksperimental. Desain penelitian yaitu the static group pretest-posttest design.
Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah VIII B dan VIII D. Teknik penelitian ini
menggunakan purposive sampling. Kelas VIII B menggunakan strategi mind
mapping dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar 50,22 dan VIII D menggunakan
strategi heuristic vee dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar 70,22. Teknik analisis
data yang digunakan adalah uji t sampel bebas diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar -4,133
dan ttabel -2,018 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 atau thitung < ttabel karena
signifikansi < 0,05 maka H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat
perbedaan hasil belajar IPA menggunakan strategi pembelajaran heuristic vee dan
mind mapping.
