WHITE SUPREMACY IN THE NOVEL THE OTHER BLACK GIRL BY ZAKIYA DALILA HARRIS

White supremacy is one of the issues that occurs almost worldwide. This problem is due to several reasons, including differences between races and the population that leads to oppression by the majority against minorities. This study aims to analyze the forms of white supremacy and how white people oppress black people. This study uses qualitative method to analyse white supremacy issues that occur in the novel The Other Black Girl. The data of this study are the author‘s narrations and the character‘s utterances. The theory used in this study was the white supremacy theory by George M. Fredrikson. The result of this study indicates that there are two forms of white supremacy found in the novel. There are color bars, and racial segregation. Then white people applies three ways to oppress the black in the novel The Other Black Girl, including attitudes, ideology, and policies.
