PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PERAGA LINGKUNGAN SEHAT DAN TIDAK SEHAT SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN IPA KELAS III SDN JUKONG 2 BANGKALAN

The background of the study is minimum conditionof of facility and
environment at SDN Jukong 2 Bangkalan. Media used in classes are
mostly in form of drawing picture. The learning model and media
applied are monotonous for the less of facilities have by this school
that also causes the boring teaching and learning activity. This school
also does not too aware on cleanliness as seen on the bathroom and
waste disposal. One way to increase the quality of better teaching and
learning is to provide useful and interestinglearning props. The
purpose of the study is to create interesting props according to subject
taught and school environment and condition. Development model
applied is Borg and Gall whicah consist of 10 steps; (1) research
identification, (2) collecting information, (3) designing product, (4)
validating design, (5) maintenancing design, (6) experimenting the
design, (7) revising product, (8) experimenting usage, (9) revising
final product, (10) mass production. Healthy and unhealthy
environment props obtain validation result come from media expert as
93,3% (very valid), learning design expert as 70,8% (quite valid),
material expert as 90% (very valid), linguist as 95,5%. The properness
percentage of props taken from respondent through small group
experiment is 89,7%, while the large group is 95,4%. The result of
percentage result is the final results are converted through criteria
table in value achievement level.
