This study aims to describe risk taking behavior in adolescents who do nyelep, seen from the aspects that influence the adolescent to do nyelep. Risk-taking behavior is any decision taken by a person, where decisions taken are more directed to the negative consequences that are more dominant than the positive consequences of the decision. This study uses qualitative descriptive approach to the two teenagers who do nyelep (SM and YT) which is determined by purposive sampling. The results of this study in risk taking behavior committed by adolescents is influenced by aspects of risk taking behavior, which in daily behavior of looking for a challenge that is often performed as well as their ability to tolerate fear and anxiety makes the adolescent has a tendency to perform risk-taking behavior. Their strong desire to attain the desired followed by the urge to test the capabilities and the encouragement of the family makes teens are increasingly compelled to retaliate and tend to take high-risk decisions.
