Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang kajian afiks derivasional dan non derivasional yang digunakan dalam BBC news.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui afiks derivasional dan non derivasional yang digunakan dalam BBC NEWS,untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan fungsi turunan non derivasional yang digunakan adalah artikel dari BBC NEWS,dan mengetahui jenis turunan yang palinf dominan digunakan dalam artikel BBC NEWS.Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini.Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari artikel-artikel berita BBC pada juli 2022.Dalam pengumpulan data,peneliti membaca artikel-artikel berita BBC,mengidentifikasi setiap kalimat yang mengandung imbuhan,mengklasifikasikan jenins imbuhan yang digunakan.Dalam berita BBC.Data dianalisis dalam beberapa tahapan,yaitu mengidentifikasi afiks derivasional dan non derivasional pada setiap paragraf di berita BBC,mengklafijasikan afiks derivasional dan non-derivasional yang muncul di berita BBC.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada total lima puluh empat imbuhan yang digunakan dalam artikel berita BBC,dengan rincian dua prefiks dan lima puluh dua sufiks serta dua puluh tujuh morfem derivasi dan dua puluh tujuh morfem non derivasi.
