Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan gastropoda, morfometrik dan faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi kehidupan gastropodaNerita histrio di Pulau Poteran Kabupaten Sumenep. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak saat air surut pada 3 stasiun. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 270 individu tiap Stasiun. Pengukuran sampel menggunakan jangka sorong dan menimbang menggunakan timbangan analitik. Analisa data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. PertumbuhanNerita histrio dari Stasiun 1 sampai Stasiun 3 menunujukkan pertumbuhan yang allometrik negatif karena nilai b<3. Hasil morfometrik menunjukkan rata-rataukuran panjang dari Stasiun 1 sampai Stasiun 3 menunujukkan14,6 mm, 14,5 mm, dan 14,3mm sedangkan rata-rata ukuran lebar 11,5 mm,11,1 mm, dan 10,8 mm. Hasil parameter lingkungan menunjukkan masih layak untuk kehidupan gastropoda Nerita histrio.
