Abstract
Sistem pembibitan single bud planting ( SBP ) adalah salah satu metode pembibitan baru dalam dunia pertebuan indonesia. Asal mula sistem SBP ini adalah ketika perwakilan PTP di jawa timur ( PTPN X dan PTPN XI ) beserta jajaran DPRD Provinsi Jatim melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Brazil dan Columbia. Brazil dan Columbia selama ini dipandang sebagai negara di Amerika Selatan yang cukup maju dalam hal budidaya tanaman tebu
