Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek validitas pada soal Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS) mata pelajaran IPA Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 semester genap di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Torjun Kabupaten Sampang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak tiga kelas yaitu kelas VIIB,VIIC, dan VIID. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Item and test analysis. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas butir soal tergolong soal rendah karena 11 butir soal (36,67%) termasuk kategori validitas sangat rendah, 16 butir soal (53,33%) kategori validitas rendah, dan 3 butir soal (10%) kategori validitas cukup.
